This is a competency based training package for the unemployed and underemployed workforce of Bangladesh. The curriculum is based on the tasks to be performed in the Tile fitter occupation and subsequently these tasks have been grouped to form various modules .Tile fitters install tiles onto walls and floors. They cut tiles to the right size and shape, prepare the surface, and put the tiles in place flush and straight. Tile fitters may also take on creative and artistic projects, with some laying mosaics. In this training deferment types of skills a trainee achieve this are , Plan tiling, Mix construction grouts, Lay tiles, Use measurement instruments, Snap chalk line, Caulk expansion joints, Transport construction supplies, Use safety equipment in construction, Work ergonomically, Fill tile joints, Cut tiles, Types of tile & Follow health and safety procedures in construction.
