Sundarban Institute of Technology is one of the leading Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institute in Bangladesh. The aim of Sundarban Institute of Technology is to enhance technical and vocational skill and training to promising and potential young mind to build a better Bangladesh. Since August 2010 till date, Sundaraban Institute of Technology is working in TVET sector through the accreditation of Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). Bangladesh has a huge potential of skill and professional resources untapped which can be groomed to meet the challenges of progress and development of 21st Century. He / She can play a lead role in providing positive role in national and international development through skilled and professional expertise. Technical education sector in Bangladesh has gained ground and made a significant breakthrough in drawing attention and interest of young generation. This least known and poorly circulated technical sector made a progressively positive image and impression at home and abroad. Since inception of this institute, started its journey in leaps and bounds and gradually brightened the image of technical education in Bangladesh in general and south west Bengal in particular. It also promoted and familiarized technical education and its associated benefits to students across Bangladesh. Sundarban Institute of Technology trains and fills the big vacuum of skilled and trained young and boys and girls. It also focuses the deprived and underprivileged adolescent with semi-skilled and skilled tests and certification so as to bring them in the main stream of development of Bangladesh. Sundarban Institute of Technology dreaming to become vibrant and promising development partner of developed and better Bangladesh through technical education and expertise. SIT was entrusted and awarded with the accreditation from Bangladesh Technical and Education Board (BTEB) for Diploma in different disciplines including various short courses like RTO& RPL in different occupations. SIT has dedicated a full time operational Skill Development Cell, continuously overseeing and monitoring the professional progress. Since beginning, SIT minutely follows up the training curricula and the employment opportunity of the graduated diploma engineers and various course qualified professionals both at home and abroad. Employment and job placement of those qualifying from SIT is one of our prime concerns. Our target is to bring together the key government and private sector stockholders to Establish NTVQF-Certified TVET Trainers and assessment and certification program.
